Our Programs
01.Nunnally Builders of Tomorrow
Nunnally Builders of Tomorrow is the flagship youth initiative for ages 10 through 18. The program introduces participants to careers, STEM, skilled trades, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, leadership, technology, real estate, construction, and community service. The word Builders reflects the development of confidence, skills, careers, businesses, wealth, communities, and futures.
02.Building Futures Workforce Academy
The Academy will connect youth and adults to marketable skills, industry-recognized training where available, employment, apprenticeships, entrepreneurship, and career advancement. Initial pathways may include construction, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, flooring, painting, property maintenance, weatherization, estimating, project management, real estate, property management, administration, and entrepreneurship.
03.Nunnally Family Opportunity Center
This initiative will help families develop financial skills and navigate trusted community resources. Building with The Nunnallys will emphasize coordination and warm referrals when another organization has specialized expertise.
04.Building Petersburg Together
Building Petersburg Together will unite residents, youth, nonprofit partners, contractors, corporations, and volunteers around visible neighborhood improvements. The program builds on the organization's current practice of partnering with other nonprofits for revitalization.
05.Pathways to Homeownership
Affordable housing and homeownership remain central to the organization's identity. This pillar will connect housing education with the employment, financial capability, and neighborhood conditions needed for sustainable ownership.
